The Arvada Crime Report - September 14th: Number of stolen vehicles in the double digits for the second week in a row

The Arvada Crime report looks at the crime reported to the Arvada Police Department each week. On Monday, we publish a snapshot of the crimes reported during the previous week, along with statistics and patterns.

The following crimes were reported to the Arvada Police Department during the week of September 7th - September 13th:

  • Assault: 6
  • Burglary - Residential: 7
  • Drugs & Narcotics Violation: 1
  • DUI: 3
  • Motor Vehicle Theft: 12
  • Robbery: 3
  • Theft & Shoplifting: 37
  • Traffic Crashes: 11

Total Reported: 80*

Repeat Crime Areas: The following areas of Arvada were the location of two or more of the above listed crimes this week:

  • 16300 Block of 64th Avenue
  • 5100 Block of Kipling Street
  • 5200 Block of Wadsworth Bypass
  • 5400 Block of Wadsworth Bypass
  • 6800 Block of Gray Drive
  • 7400 Block of 52nd Avenue
  • 7600 67th Avenue


Overall reported crimes are down from the first week of Setpember (105) with a total of 80 crimes being reported in the same catagories this past week. For the second week in a row, reported motor vehicle thefts are in double digits.
