#ArvadaStrong: Arvada Chamber, City of Arvada & Community Table all offering free services and support through COVID19

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the City of Arvada, Arvada Chamber of Commerce and Community Table are all working to help the community. We have highlighted a few of the programs along with ways to help those in need below.

Community Table: Located at 8555 W. 57th Avenue, Community Table’s mission is “a community in which people have access to food and resources to foster self-sufficiency”. They are currently have an urgent need for the following items which can be dropped off Monday-Friday (9:00AM to 4:00PM). You can also provide direct financial support by donating here.

  • Canned fruit
  • Peanut butter
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Mouthwash
  • Lotion
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Body wash
  • Bar soap

Business Stimulus Package Giveaway: The Arvada Chamber, along with the Arvada Resiliency Taskforce, is dedicated to COVID-19 recovery efforts by encouraging the community AND businesses to #InvestInArvada! As part of their commitment to Source Local, they’ve partnered with Arvada-based marketing firms to offer 10 free marketing, communications and printing stimulus packages. To view the awesome packages and to enter to win one of the marketing packages, each valued at $500 or more, click here. Our email updates provide information on Chamber initiatives, as well as those through partnerships with the Arvada Resiliency Taskforce, designed to help all businesses in Arvada be successful.

City of Arvada Rent/Mortgage Relief Program: The City of Arvada Rent/Mortgage Relief Program is available for Arvada residents financially impacted by COVID-19. All applicants must meet income eligibility criteria and must have a documented loss of income due to COVID-19. Program recipients may not receive assistance from other sources to cover the same expense.

You may qualify for the Rent/Mortgage Relief Program if:

  1. You currently reside within the Arvada city limits, AND
  2. You can demonstrate financial hardship due to COVID-19, AND
  3. Your current annualized household income must be at or below 150% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Income is calculated based on the month preceding the month for which assistance is requested (e.g. June income for July housing assistance). Households currently supported with a housing voucher are not eligible
