The Arvada Crime Report - October 5th: Vehicle thefts double after two weeks in the single digits & 2 suspects in court for separate homicide cases

The Arvada Crime report looks at the crime reported to the Arvada Police Department each week. On Monday, we publish a snapshot of the crimes reported during the previous week, along with statistics and patterns.

The following crimes were reported to the Arvada Police Department during the week of September 28th - October 4th:

  • Assault: 5
  • Burglary - Residential: 5
  • Drugs & Narcotics Violation: 4
  • DUI: 4
  • Motor Vehicle Theft: 13
  • Robbery: 2
  • Theft & Shoplifting: 25
  • Traffic Crashes: 16

Total Reported: 74*



Repeat Crime Areas: The following areas of Arvada were the location of two or more of the above listed crimes this week:

  • 5300 Block of Everett Street
  • 5400 Block of Wadsworth Bypass
  • 5600 Block of Kipling Parkway
  • 5800 Block of Pierce Street
  • 6300 Block of Sheridan Blvd



News Spotlight: This past week was a busy week on the court docket in Jefferson County. This included hearings to two separate homicide cases and a serious assault on a JCSO Deputy.
